British Red Cross- This website provides information on refugee facts and figures. There is also a useful page with teaching resources on emergency response, conflict, disasters and emergencies.



UNHCR leads international action to protect people forced to flee conflict and persecution and those denied a nationality. They provide teaching resources for children aged 6-18 that can be found here.

Refugee Week takes place every June. In the UK, Refugee Week is a nationwide programme of arts, cultural and educational events that celebrate the contribution of refugees to the UK, and encourages a better understanding between communities. They also offer resources for schools. 

         


The Refugee Council works with refugees and asylum seekers. The organisation provides support and advice to refugees and asylum seekers, as well as support for other refugee and asylum seeker organisations.
